New sailing to Arran – May 2014
We’ve been extremely busy here at Clyde Cruises HQ putting together our full range of summer cruises. Each year we like to bring you something different and this year for our first speciality cruise of the season we have decided on a range of short excursions departing from Largs and sailing to Lochranza, Carradale, Tarbert and Otter Ferry. These cruises are perfect for a day trip, an unusual gift or simply a group of friends looking for a scenic sail!
Lochranza is a truly stunning village nestled in the North Western corner of the Island of Arran. Home to Arran Distillery, Lochranza Castle and an abundance of Red Deer, this picture perfect village is well worth a visit.
Carradale is another very picturesque little village on the east side of Kintyre overlooking the Kilbrannan Sound and the west coast of the Isle of Arran. This otherwise difficult-to-get-to village is the perfect place to take a few minutes and enjoy a much slower pace of life!
Otter Ferry really is a hidden little gem of tranquility! Otter Ferry lies on the eastern shore of Loch Fyne and is a small community of scattered whitewashed farms and fisherman’s cottages.
