West Coast Cruise 2011 – Itinerary
Friday 29 April 2011
The cruise departed Greenock at 0600 on Friday 29th April 2011, and sailed that day to Barcaldine on Loch Creran via Oban and the Crinan Canal.
Saturday 30 April 2011
On Saturday we sailed northwards to Fort William via some lesser visited piers and lochs.
Sunday 1 May 2011
The sailing on Sunday included a 3 hour guided tour by mini-bus of the Glensanda coastal quarry.
Monday 2 May 2011
Departed Oban at 0800 for the return sailing to Greenock via the Crinan Canal.
Each day’s sailing was serviced by coach connection from Oban , allowing passengers to base themselves and organize accommodation in Oban for the 3 nights. On each day, a full and informative commentary was provided on passing points of interest.
