About us

90 Years Experience

Clyde Cruises are a family run business, proud to have been operating on the River Clyde for the past 90 years. We are owned and managed by Clyde Marine Services Ltd who have supplied marine services on the Clyde for several generations. With extensive local knowledge we are experts in our field who have unrivalled knowledge of the entire Clyde area.

Our vision is to create amazing bespoke events onboard our fleet. Our philosophy is simple; outstanding service and a unique experience. We pride ourselves on the personal touch, attention to detail and a genuine desire to ensure that you are 100% satisfied with our service and standards.

Our Environmental Policy

Clyde Cruises have been making cleaner sailing its philosophy for more than 30 years. In order for you to admire the beautiful Rivers and Seas of the West Coast of Scotland, we make it our business to watch over them every day of the year.

The pristine waters, abundant marine life and fresh air we all enjoy, depend on our taking responsible care of them. That's why Clyde Cruises have instituted a comprehensive programme to protect and preserve the natural resources around us.

We endeavour to recycle all possible materials on board. We reduce our water consumption by installing special tap filters. Our innovative waste disposal system is cleaner and more efficient than ever.

Every employee has an unwavering dedication to environmental conservation. Because as John Muir said more than 100 years ago "When you tug at a single thread in nature, you will find it attached to the rest of the world".

Safety

Safety is of the utmost importance to Clyde Cruises, our vessels conform to all safety regulations and undergo annual drydocking and certification by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA). The vessels are equipped with electronic navigation and are in full radio contact with the harbour authorities and coastguard at all times. Our vessels are also fully equipped with lifejackets and self inflating life rafts.

Insurance

Our vessels are surveyed and licensed by the MCA, and are fully insured with passenger liability insurance of £300 million.

Reduced Mobility Passengers

It is recommended that wheelchair users enquire in advance of any intended sailings. Whilst we welcome disabled passengers onboard, we apologise if we are unable to carry passengers if the crew determine that it would be unsafe to board passengers.
