    Just a short distance from the thriving hub of Fort William, Banavie is the ideal location to start your canal cruise. We are located at the top lock of Neptune's Staircase, just past the popular Moorings Hotel.

    Soak up the unique canal atmosphere, keep your eyes peeled for deer,otters and eagles and navigate your way through working locks and gates. Marvel at the fascinating historical landmarks, pretty lochs and inlets and spectacular mountains. Our interesting commentary will piece the jigsaw together for you, recounting the famous Jacobite battles and pointing out castles and monuments.

    From Banavie we offer the following:

    A 1 hour, one way sailing from Banavie to Gairlochy (perfect partner for our family Cycle & Sail ticket!)
    A 2.5 hour, one way sailing from Banavie to Laggan

    A 1.5 hour round trip sailing from Banavie, sailing to Gairlochy and returning to Banavie
    A 3 hour round trip from Banavie, sailing all the way to Bunarkaig and back to Banavie
    A 5 hour round trip from Banavie to Laggan, returning to Banavie
