Safety
Safety is of the upmost importance to Clyde Cruises, and the our vessels conform to all safety regulations and undergo annual drydocking and certification by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency.
The vessels are equipped with electronic navigation equipment, and are in full radio contact with the harbour authorities and coastguard at all times. Clyde Clipper and Cruiser are also fully equipped with life jackets and self inflating life rafts.
Our crews have a minimum of seven individual certificates for marine safety related subjects. Our vessels are operated in accordance with our approved Safety Management Code.
Insurance
Clyde Clipper and Cruiser are each surveyed and licensed by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, and are fully insured with passenger liability insurance of £300 million.
