What types of corporate events are the boats suitable for?
We have had a wide variety of corporate events onboard including training days, team building days, product launches, staff reward days, presentations and client entertainment. The boats are perfect for almost any type of event.
Do you have any activities that we can add on to your cruise options?
Yes, we’ve organised quad biking, mountain biking, ceilidhs, whisky tasting, recommended restaurants and accommodation for clients in the past, simply tell us your ideas and we’d be delighted to make recommendations to add onto your cruise.
Do you have an area suitable for presentations and speeches?
Yes, on the Clyde Clipper our dance floor is on a raised platform overlooking the entire interior cabin, perfect for delivering presentations or making speeches.
Do you have AV equipment for hire?
No, we ask that you hire any equipment needed directly. However, the Clyde Clipper and Cruiser both have the appropriate power and sockets onboard to accommodate most AV requirements.
How many people do your boats hold?
Clipper 250 people (120 for sit down meal)
Cruiser 250 people (80 for sit down meal)
Second Snark 48 (light, informal dining only)
What if the weather is bad?
It would be extremely unusual for us to have to cancel an event due to bad weather, this is something we haven’t yet had to do and don’t envisage a scenario where this would occur. If the weather is slightly unpredictable our experienced crew will ensure that we sail in only the most sheltered waters allowing your guests to still enjoy a pleasurable sail despite the elements. We also have a large, heated, comfortable interior cabin.
Will my guests get seasick?
Our charter vessels are large passenger vessels which are renowned for their stability, our crew are also highly trained to advise clients on routes and sailing areas appropriate for the weather conditions. This is something that most people fear but in actual fact is very rarely problematic
